Abstract :
This paper suggests application of the universal One-Cycle Control (OCC) technique to dynamically control a Three-Phase Load Emulator (TPLE). The paper offers a model of the OCC controlled current loop and derives the relationships between the controlled variables. Based on the analysis the required programming equations are derived. To validate the approach, a case study was conducted to experimentally emulate the start-up transient of a realistic Induction Motor. Experimental results are reported.
