  • Abstract
    The cutting process of the abrasive suspension jet is a complex system with many interactions and influences among process parameters. And itself suffers from the formation of striations or wavy patterns of varying depth along the cut-wall surface. The paper has proposed an effective fuzzy orthogonality method to evaluate different kinds of cutting parameters effect on the cutting quality. With this method the fuzzy knowledge base for process parameters can be built easily. And the CAPP based on efficient fuzzy expert system for intelligent realization about appropriate value of process parameters is also developed. With new approaches of CAPP, both cutting quality and efficiency can be improved making this innovative technology capable to meet specific requirements and high standards
