Abstract :
In this paper, the operation of a three-phase current injection rectifier under severe conditions - heavily varying load and/or disturbed and unbalanced mains voltage - is investigated. The converter is controlled by a fixed frequency PWM multiple-loops controller. The inner current regulators and outer voltage regulator are designed by applying the input/output feedback linearizing control technique on the averaged state model of the converter. The elaboration of the state model is based on the well-known averaging technique commonly used in the modeling of high switching frequency DC-DC converters. The performance of the converter under the proposed operating conditions is evaluated by simulation using the tools of Matlab/Simulink.
