Abstract :
This paper analyzes two ultra wide-band dipole antennas´ impedance characteristics with FDTD, and compares the FDTD calculated result with the result of the monopole antennas in the reference; the similar result has been got. The result shows that the FDTD simulation of the dipole UWB antennas can greatly reduce the simulating time and can also reflect the impedance characteristics of the UWB monopole antennas.
