  • Abstract
    For the ITDAMS (impulse time domain antenna measurement system), the ultra wideband antennas are used for the transmit sources. The special double ridge horn is available for the frequency band from 1∼26 GHz. For the frequency below 1 GHz, the size of antenna is bulky in size and the VSWR is high. In this paper, the wideband bow tie antenna with frequency from 300 MHz to 1000 GHz is designed for the ITDAMS. The tradeoff of wideband radiator, wideband balun, and environment are discussed. From the results of simulation, the return loss is below -6 dB. The antenna is in manufacturing. The test results was presented during the oral presentation.
