Abstract
To enhance the quality of IT education in Indian engineering colleges, we started a Teacher Training Program (TTP) in 2008. Through this TTP an effort was made to provide the faculty members hands-on experience in a myriad of skills/tools necessary to integrate technology into teaching and learning activities through the "Learning by Doing" (LBD) methodology. The focus of this paper is on the integration of these efforts into the TTP and to discuss our formative evaluation of our training process using Kirkpatrick\´s model. As this is an ongoing program, these results will be fed back to future training programs.
