Abstract :
The inverse problem for a class of elliptic equation is discussed by the variational adjoint method. A new iteration algorithm is derived based on the variational adjoint method. Numerical simulation experiments show that the algorithm is valid and efficient. It can be used in controlling river water quality and river planning.
