Abstract
The notion of informal learning becomes more generally receivable nowadays for different learning choices. By a variety of preferences, a learner is potentially encouraged and motivated to engage in alternate style or means of learning to meet own interest. Also, a facilitation of online resources provides accessibility and convenience for the learner to not only have a broad content search opportunity but also assemble an abounding learning environment. Thus, the study addresses these issues explicitly to a condition of Chinese as foreign language learning by examining the procedure of an individual case who is immersing in a thorough online environment to acquire the Chinese language knowledge. The finding discusses how the online learning environment enables the individual learner to gain the Chinese language effectively. The result indicates that the informal learning style brings a gradual and rippling spread of Chinese language awareness to the learner, moreover, a structured and reciprocal online learning environment is built up according to the adaption of the learning custom and willingness.
