            Abstract : 
In this paper, noise mechanism of automobile gearbox is investigated by analyzing the relation between noise intensity and gear meshing frequency. Based on FFT, the computer aided noise testing system of automobile gearbox is designed, and the error of the testing system is investigated. It is proved by experiment that the system can meet the demand of real-time testing and data processing in industrial application
