Abstract :
An array antenna which is a planar hexagonal array with six equilateral triangle patches is proposed in this paper. It can be switch controlled with active and parasitic elements in order to direct the beam over 360° beam scan angle in 60° increments. The main radiation field range of elevation of the antenna is from 20° to 70° and the central working frequency is 5.22GHz, which are suitable for HIPERLAN terminals.
