Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

This paper considers the two dimensional Legendre polynomials spectral approximation for the infinite dimensional Hamiltonian Systems. As a consequence, the 2 dimensional Legendre polynomials spectral semi-discrete system is a Hamiltonian system for the Hamiltonian system whose Hamiltonian operator does not depend on u and the derivatives of u.
