Abstract
In order to enjoy the benefits that the use of computer games may provide for supporting the area of informal education, it is necessary to rely on design models, methods and tools to help reduce the high costs traditionally associated with the development of these kinds of systems. In this paper we present a model which seeks to facilitate the reuse and adaptation of designs of these types of games. The model has supported the implementation of two different games for training children on emergency situations.
