Abstract
A new dead time compensation method for PMSM with a pulsewidth modulation (PWM) inverter is proposed. The paper analyzed the nonlinear model of inverter firstly. Then, combined with model reference control and sliding mode control (SMC) strategy, a double closed-loop higher-order nonsingular terminal sliding mode control (NTSMC) method is proposed. This method can reduce the chattering phenomenon in traditional SMC, meanwhile the method can realize automatic compensation for nonlinear disturbances of the inverter. Simulation results show that the proposed method can ensure global stability, strong robustness, it can also reduce current harmonic and torque pulse evidently.
