xUDDI: A Framework for UDDI Registry Based on pureXML

In this paper, we propose a framework for UDDI registry based on pureXML technology. It uses XML database in place of relational database as the infrastructure and provides the same interfaces that compliant with UDDI v2 specification. With the help of pureXML, we can directly store XML data in database, preserve the original data structure, cut the heavy work in converting XML data, shredding data to relational tables and indexing. Moreover, we provide extended authentication and classification mechanism that most suitable for organizations with tree structure. It can be used by businesses and organizations as a private UDDI for Web service organizing. And the development methodology has prevalent meaning of guidance in information system development.
