Abstract
Radar images of aircraft allow us to estimate the forms and dimensions of aircraft. The scattering properties may be used for aircraft recognition. It is reasonable to form these images using inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR). This method of radar aperture inverse synthesis consists of two main stages: microwave hologram registration and image reconstruction. The case of an aircraft moving at constant speed is discussed.
