Abstract
Novel complex pulse compression codes with low peak sidelobes for radar applications are presented. They consist of one period of orthogonal periodic sequences with two complex numbers derived by mapping M-sequences on GF(2) to complex sequences. A practical algorithm to generate them and some examples are shown. Some experiments are conducted to confirm their sidelobe characteristics using digital modulation techniques
