Abstract

In order to improve target detection performance under various conditions of ground clutter, weather and angle clutter, a correlation and centroiding processor has been designed in MTD radar. Some data results of real target reports and their analysis are shown. These indicate that the target detection performance and resolution are improved when a correlation and centroiding processor is used in MTD radar. On the other hand, the data transmission speed from signal processor to data processing computer are reduced by using the processor and it is a good way to solve the bottleneck problem in data transmission
