Abstract
The E7-25 type capacitive energy store is intended for the study of electrophysical processes with superheavy pulse currents and for the energy supply of electrothermal and railgun launchers. Its designed energy is 17.2 MΠΨ; the voltage is 25 kV. The store is tested with pulse current up to 10 MA and current integral up to 5·10 9 A2·s. A peculiarity of the store is its ability to form the current pulse by the nonsimultaneous triggering of its capacitor modules discharge
