Abstract :
Since non-singular signals and random signals have different modulus maxima spread characterizations in the wavelet transform, the maxima corresponding to noise are removed and the original signal can be reconstructed. Thus we derive the correlation template from the denoised signal, and the accurate position of echo in strong noise environments is detected by correlation analysis. Therefore, the depth of the oil well between the ground and oil surface is obtained. A comparison is given between the correlation signal that used wavelet analysis and the one that did not, from which we can see the superiority of wavelet analysis
