Abstract :
A wave-digital filter (WDF) structure is sufficiently modular and generalized and can therefore be used to facilitate the control of variable filter characteristics in conjunction with coefficient update logic. The elliptic approximation is realized by a variable low-pass WDF, which is clearly a linear and time-variant discrete model. This paper describes the hardware interfaces that permit effective control of this class of variable digital filter
