Abstract
A time-of-arrival location and tracking method for a maneuvering target is discussed in this paper. The rapid location and tracking of a target in two-dimensional space is realized by using nonlinear weighted least square (WLS) estimation and a self-adapting Kalman filter based on the acceleration time correlation model. Computer simulations indicate that this method is very efficient. The algorithm is of great importance to the practicability of passive location and tracking systems
