  • Abstract
We aim to design and provide a compact security system for keeping track of personal belongings or assets. If a registered asset is out of a range of 5 feet, the monitoring system will alert the user. The tracking system is mainly composed of a mobile transmitting module and a receiving module carried by a person. Personal objects (such as passport, mobile phones, laptops and portable devices) are attached with the transmitting module and a receiving module is used to track and secure different objects. The transmitting module consists of encoding circuit and wireless transmitting circuit. And the receiving module is composed of receiving, decoding and alert circuits. In addition, the personal asset tracking system can identify the item and the time when it was lost.
