Abstract :
A frequency-scanning radar in LTCC is presented. The focus of this paper is the holographic antenna with a beam scanning of 30° and a maximum measured gain of 14.5 dBi. With the antipodal Vivaldi feed, an easy and broadband integration with the 60 GHz MMICs is possible. Besides the presented simulation results the paper includes the measured farfield of the antenna and its return loss.
