Abstract :
This paper describes maintenance support as M/M/m/k queue process, of which the damaged equipment-arrival is subordinate to the independent Poisson distribution, and the maintenance-time the exponential distribution. The arrival rate of system and the maintenance rate may change along with the number of damaged equipments in the system, and the important damaged equipments have the preemptive priority and exponential impatience when waiting for repairing. The paper sets up maintenance support M/M/m/k queue model and lists state equations based on maintenance support system structure and size. The queue length distribution in stationary state and performance measures are gained by using the method of matrix analysis.
