Abstract :
In the production of continuous casting billet, we know that the checking of crack is very important. Usually we use the method of checking the temperature of the crystallizer. But the temperature fluctuation of the crystallizer is hard to be checked when the crack appears, so we must have an appropriate method to deal with this problem. This paper briefly discusses the picking-up method for those slight signals ----temperature from the thermocouples around the crystallizer that check the temperature fluctuation because of the crack in the crack checking of the continuous casting billet, submerged in noise entirely. It analyses the difference between the signal and the noise on the time and the statistics, and introduces a kind of effective detecting method, applying the correlation function to pick up the slight signal submerged in noise entirely.
