Abstract :
In this paper, the performances of different coded M-ary orthogonal modulation are simulated and evaluated on the basis of the soft bits output of M-ary orthogonal modulation. The simulation results show that, compared with binary convolutional codes and Turbo codes, nonbinary dual-k codes can be regarded as a tradeoff among bit error rate (BER), computations and decoding time delay, and it can be applied to M-ary orthogonal modulation systems.
