Abstract :
The paper analyses the power control problem in the case of a SCPC/DAMA satellite communication network based on a centralized control management. In particular, different possible solutions are considered both for the master station and for the remote terminal. Performances evaluation of the proposed different solutions is carried out in terms of the input power flux density (IPFD) resulting accuracy, network control procedures and hardware complexity
