Title :
Recertification revisited [Certification Corner]
Abstract :
The July 2012 Certification Corner column explained the need for holders of the IEEE Wireless Communications Professional?? (IEEE WCP) certification to recertify periodically in order to demonstrate that they are keeping their knowledge and skills up to date. Given the rapid and constant rate of change in the field of wireless communications, the Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies (WCET) program requires credential holders to recertify their competence at five-year intervals. That interval has now arrived for those who earned the IEEE WCP certification in the Fall of 2008.
