Abstract
It is noted that in the 1990s network management will be the hallmark of information systems managers, but that there are very few programs offered through educational institutions to formally train future network managers. City University, recognizing the need, took up the task of designing such a program. A survey of industry professionals was conducted to measure the expectations of the industry. Based on the survey results, City University designed a curriculum for a telecommunications management program at the graduate level. The authors present the details of the survey and the program that was designed as a result of the feedback from the survey
