Abstract
A method to cluster elements of a knowledge space is presented in this paper. Knowledge elements are represented as object nodes with a well-defined hierarchical logical model using ontology technology. Some set of such nodes can be clustered to be a new node according to rules based on semantic relationships. Such clustering process can improve the structure of the whole knowledge space and decrease the amount of knowledge objects in an actual knowledge based system. The analysis of a case study shows the feasibility and efficiency of design rationale.
