Abstract
In this paper, packet management of the protocol processor in a network terminal is investigated. Specifically, we have developed an algorithm that evenly distributes packet losses between different applications. Experimental studies have demonstrated that the algorithm works more efficiently than conventional dynamic algorithm when handling data streams with a speed high than than 10 Gb/s.
