Abstract :
For the flight information at a large aeronautic hub, we utilized star-shaped structure, designed and created a data warehouse, obtained the data about flight delay for data warehouse from the original data through ETL process, completed the preprocessing and loading data, created OLAP data cube for slicing and drilling, provided a decision support for the airport management staff of flight operation. In the final statements, we created delay drill-down report by quarter.
