Upgrading the Anglo-Scottish Interconnector: system performance requirements

This contribution describes the preliminary results of analytical studies undertaken to determine the requirements for generator exciters and power system stabilisers and for interconnector protection schemes to allow the Scottish utilities to exploit the export capability of the upgraded Interconnector to England and Wales.
