Abstract :
Radio-Wave Penetration Method (also known as underground penetration method or electromagnetic-wave penetration method) is widely applied to detect the water-bearing structures within a coal face of a coal mine, which has achieved satisfactory geological effects. The paper mainly presents the application of radio wave penetration method in detecting water-bearing structures within a coal face in terms of principles, methods, techniques and data processing and interpretation. Besides, a case study is also demonstrated to show its application effect.
