  • Abstract
The security of transportation becomes extremely significant with the demanding for road transport of dangerous goods in recent years. It is urgent for China to build a control system with the technology of information management for dangerous goods. A real-time vehicles monitoring system for dangerous goods by using of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is put forward in this paper, which includes the functions of data acquisition in real time, positioning, tracking and monitoring in transportation. At last, it is approved that the comprehensive system expressed in this paper is really with the advantage of accuracy and reliability. It is a fundamental solution to the safety issues of dangerous goods logistics, and further to achieve scientific management.
