Abstract :
A variable line equalizer, capable of equalizing up to 5km of 0.4mm twisted pair in a 200Kb digital subscriber loop, will be described. The circuit is contructed with a 2.5μm switched-capacitor CMOS technology and utilizes 50MHz opamps to realize a variable gain filter and a variable high frequency boost \\sqrt {f} filter.
