Abstract :
This paper proposes a light-weight sensing node selection scheme, which incorporates both information utility measure and energy consumption measure for distributive target tracking in wireless sensor networks. By adopting this scheme, the target tracking algorithm could maintain lower energy consumption while still achieve desirable tracking accuracy. Simulation results are provided in this paper.
