Abstract
The author addresses some of the developmental issues concerned with academia-industry interactions in developing countries, and discusses challenges involved in the management of these collaborations. The issues addressed are directed toward organizational level ones from the point of view of their importance and action needed. It is concluded that academia-industry interactions are vital for economic development of developing countries. The appreciation of the mutual benefit concept and initiation of action and orientation at both ends are suggested for effective integration of research results with production
