Abstract :
A GaAs MMIC receiver with a 4.2dB noise figure, measured at 4GHz, will be described. The IC includes a limiter, three RF amplifiers, diode mixer, LO amplifiers and AGC, using transformer coupling. Chip size is 1.0×1.65mm.
