  • Abstract
    System simulation has become a tool that is of much help to the radar engineer in solving various problems of modern carrier-borne electronic scanning radar (CESR). This paper introduces the principles and design of a simulation system for CESR. The paper presents also the implementation of CESR simulation using a microcomputer. The system models the antenna beam position, multiple targets that have different RCS and trajectory, clutter interference, jamming and detection performance
