Abstract
For approximately synchronized CDMA (AS-CDMA) systems, zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequences, whose periodic auto/cross-correlation functions have zero correlation zone at both sides of the zero-shift, are used as signature sequences to eliminate the co-channel interference and to decrease the multipath interference. In this paper, based on the generalized chirp-like sequences, a new family of polyphase sequences is presented and the correlation properties are investigated. The results show that, among the proposed sequences, there are subsets of ZCZ sequences which can be used for AS-CDMA systems.
