  • Abstract
    Traditional jacquard fabric was designed by single plane design mode, so the expression of fabric effect was restricted greatly. Based on digital design concept, layered-combination design mode is proposed for design innovation of digital jacquard. and the key technical problem that designing jacquard fabric directly by employing digital image has been resolved through deployment of layered structure design method and compounded fabric structure. in this paper, beginning with the research on design principles and methods, a comprehensive analysis and demonstration for design creation of digital jacquard fabric under layered-combination design mode are carried out based on design practice and innovated products. and the basic framework that guiding technology research and product innovation of layered-combination design mode for digital jacquard are put forward. the study not only provides scientific theory and practical experience for design creation of digital jacquard under layered-combination design mode, but also demonstrates the practical value of this research.
