Abstract :
At low frequencies, acoustic wave propagation in the sea is strongly affected by the sea bottom. The aim of this study is to outline a number of techniques that can be used to analyze the main contributions of the recorded wavefields in order to determine the relevant ocean bottom parameters characterizing the wave propagation. These techniques are illustrated with two data sets acquired in shallow water and deep water
