Abstract
The TMS320 series SLSI (Super Large Scale Integration) used mainly in digital signal processing (DSP) has been developed by Texas Instruments. TMS320c25 is its second generation DSP SLSI, it has characteristics of fast speed, low power consumption and has been widely used in DSP system. TMS320c30 is its third generation production. Its characteristics are all-floating point operation, faster speed, larger internal storage and ease of programming. We have developed a sonar signal processing system based on TMS320c25 and TMS320c30. It consists of a digital filter, raising sampling rate system, DICANNE interference cancelling system, adaptive linear-spectrum enhancing system, calculating distance and direction system and FFT and ZOOM FFT system. The results of calculation are sent to display and expert systems to find a moving target
