Abstract :
The Directive 2004/40/CE to protect workers in electromagnetic fields was published for Europe. The member states have to implement the directive in their legal codes for workers within four years. In the mean time many obligations have already to be fulfilled in industry. An overview is given of the best way to cope with the new Directive in particular when using high frequency and microwave power equipment
