Abstract :
Results of an evaluation of Ada cross compilers for the MIL-STD-1750A computer are presented. Compiler performance using the ACEC (Ada Compiler Evaluation Capability), the Common Ada Missile Package (CAMP) benchmarks, and the Performance Issues Working Group (PIWG) tests is summarized. The utility of the available test suites for performing Ada compiler evaluations is addressed. Issues such as ease of testing, portability, and test coverage are examined
