Abstract :
Recently, a new method for the analytical solution of 2-D diffraction problems was introduced in M. Vesnik (2000) and M.V. Vesnik (2001). As an example an analytical solution for diffraction of electromagnetic wave on 2-dimensional perfectly conducting finite thickness half-plate based on this method was presented in M.V. Vesnik (2002). In this paper the main features the final version of the method are formulated.
