Abstract :
This paper discusses recent advances made in electromagnetic interference analysis in common corridors shared by electric transmission lines and other utilities such as railways and pipelines (victim lines). They include new advances made in analysis methods and modeling techniques. These advances enable accurate modeling of extremely long common corridors along which various parameters may change, such as soil resistivity, power line current magnitude, fault location, and victim line characteristics
