Abstract :
Metal scattering body (bodies) mounted around fuselage-mounted antennas to improve isolation is presented in this paper. Metal scattering body (bodies) will disturb radiation patters of airborne antenna, and isolation between fuselage-mounted antennas can be enhanced by choosing structure, size and mounted-location of metal scattering body (bodies) availably. Theoretical analysis and computer emulational results show that the method is proper, doable, and effective. It can solve some engineering problems, such as transmitters interfere with receivers and safety margins are inadequate in complex electromagnetic circumstance
