            Abstract : 
A genetic algorithm is applied to find equivalent ideal electric and magnetic dipoles representing the radiation of an electrically large loop. Dipole parameters are determined based on near field values and used to predict far field radiation patterns. Method of moment based field strengths are used as reference values
